Payment options and 6-month same-as-cash on jobs over $1,000
Updated Sep 6, 2026
How you can pay
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and debit cards on every job. Payment is due when the work is complete and your invoice is finalized, matching the written price you approved before we started.
6-month same-as-cash financing
For jobs of $1,000 or more, we offer 6-month same-as-cash financing in-house. This lets you spread a larger repair, like a water heater replacement or a sewer line repair, over six months with no added cost if it is paid off within that window. Ask your technician about this option when you are reviewing your written quote; it is available on the spot, not something you have to apply for separately in advance.
A note on after-hours calls
We do not accept cash on after-hours calls, for the safety of our technicians working alone at night. Card and debit payment is the standard for every after-hours visit, and this applies regardless of the size of the job.
What is due at diagnosis versus at completion
- If you decline the repair after diagnosis, only the trip and diagnostic fee is due.
- If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is waived and the full job price is due at completion.
- If financing a job of $1,000 or more, your technician sets up the 6-month same-as-cash terms before work begins so there are no surprises at the end.
Insurance and payment
If your repair may be covered by homeowners insurance, you still pay Harborline directly at time of service; we are not able to bill your insurer on your behalf. We can provide a detailed invoice and photos where useful so you have what you need to file a claim afterward. Ask your technician for documentation if you think you will be filing.
No surprises, ever
Every payment option we offer is meant to make a necessary repair easier to handle, not to upsell you into more work than you need. We will never require cash, never charge a card without your written price already agreed to, and never add financing fees beyond the same-as-cash terms disclosed up front.
